OGD can provide motorised gates for commercial, industrial and residential use. They can be hinged or sliding gates depending on your individual requirements and the space available.

Gates can be custom made to almost any design requirements, from a wide variety of materials. For example we can supply traditional style timber gates, stylish ornamental iron gates, heavy duty steel security gates, etc. We can also provide traffic control barriers.

Different types of opening mechanism are available.

The Powerdoor range includes openers for swinging gates which can be fitted underground or on the gate pillar, suitable for all styles of gate.

For sliding gates the Powerdoor Slider range will cope with residential and commercial installations.

 

 

The BFT range includes hydraulic underground and surface mounted swing openers as well as sliding mechanisms.

These are also suitable for both residential commercial and industrial use.

BFT sliding gate mechanisms can move heavy industrial gates up to 4 Tonnes in weight, while swinging gates up to 1 Tonne in with and 7m wide can be operated.

Rising arm traffic control barriers from 3m to 6m are also available.
 

Gates can be fully automated and controlled in a variety of ways:

  • Hand held remote control.
  • Keypad entry.
  • Simple push button or key switch operation.
  • By remote control switch in a gatehouse or control room. (Where an intercom and / or CCTV system may be in use)
  • Timer control allowing opening and closing at pre-set times (To allow free movement of staff at the beginning or end of shifts).
  • Underground vehicle induction loops can prevent closing when obstructed. Or to facilitate automatic opening or closing.
  • Photocells can also provide protection against closing when obstructed.

Locking mechanisms can of course be fitted to suit your security requirements.
